This device we mainly use for shoulder rehab especially post operatively. If you have a shoulder complaint such as impingement, frozen shoulder, painful shoulder, rotator cuff injury, calcification or tendonitis all with range of movement restriction then you might like to give this pulley a go. It is cheap, light weight and easy to use. We have one of these setup in our clinic which gets used regularly with no signs of major wear and tear apparent.

Developed by a practicing physical therapist in 1985, the Stretch Ranger was the first web-strap over-the-door pulley on the market. Today it is still the market leader. A low cost, simple-to-use device, the Stretch Ranger helps increase and maintain range of motion in all planes of shoulder motion. Used in the home, it allows patients to increase the gains made in the clinic and helps speed the recovery process.

The Stretch Ranger is an inexpensive pulley device that you can use at home between treatments to gain shoulder range of movement in stiff or post operative shoulders.

Simply close the door to anchor the Stretch Ranger strap and position yourself so as to achieve a full range of shoulder exercises. The package has some pics of exercises you can try however we encourage you to ask your Physio for exercises specific to you.

  • Place black webbing on top of door. 
  • Close door and lock. 
  • Ensure device is secure before use. 
  • To adjust the cord length, simply shorten the cord by pulling through the handle and re-knot.
